Basic Information

Overview

The WBDOSS was a national surveillance system that provided complete and accurate data for waterborne disease and outbreaks. Although initially designed to collect data about drinking water outbreaks in the U.S., the WBDOSS transitioned to capturing outbreaks associated with recreational water, drinking water and non-recreational water. This system is now inactive.
