The HPA/Q was a large general practitioner surveillance system that monitored consultations for a number of key clinical indicators. This system used to report on a weekly or daily basis, and used to cover approximately 40% of the UK population. This system is currently inactive and has been superseded by the PHE GP in hours surveillance system
