Overview

The mission of the Communicable Disease Surveillance Section is to protect and improve the health of NH citizens by tracking and responding to the occurrence of disease in the population. The Disease Surveillance Section maintains the reportable disease system and is responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting information for over 50 infectious diseases that are reportable under NH law.
