Overview

The mission of the Office of Epidemiology is to protect the health of Nebraskans by performing public health surveillance, responding to disease outbreaks, and preventing and controlling the spread of disease. They collect information on foodborne illness, perform vector surveillance and control and collect information on notifiable diseases in the state of Nebraska.
