The current KS-EDSS is a secure, web-based database for reporting infectious disease data. The data is used to monitor and track diseases in Kansas. Through disease surveillance, the overall health of Kansas can be described, providing an accurate and timely picture of infectious disease trends, as well as the overall burden of disease in Kansas.
