Basic Information

Overview

I-NEDSS Analysis, Visualization and Reporting (AVR) is the reporting function of the I-NEDSS application. I-NEDSS, a web-based application, is utilized by all 95 local health departments (LHDs) in Illinois for disease reporting and surveillance. Data in the I-NEDSS AVR is real-time (e.g., as soon as information is entered into I-NEDSS, it is available in the AVR) and includes historical data (data from IDPH legacy systems). Access to person-specific data is limited to the LHD's jurisdiction, but aggregate data by city, county and state are also available.
