Overview

The GFN is a capacity-building program that promotes integrated, laboratory-based surveillance and intersectoral collaboration among human health, veterinary and food-related disciplines. GFN’s objective is to strengthen and enhance the capacities of national and regional laboratories in the surveillance of salmonella, other major foodborne pathogens and antimicrobial resistance in salmonella and campylobacter from humans, food and animals through the program activities.
