Overview

The ABCs is a CDC- and NCID-sponsored population- and laboratory-based surveillance system that conducts surveillance for invasive bacterial diseases due to pathogens of public health importance in ten Emerging Infections Program sites (EIPs): California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Maryland, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Tennessee.
