Basic Information

Overview

EPICA provides Plant Protection Quarantine (PPQ) programs with early warning of exotic plant pest events through weekly e-mail reports, allowing recipients to identify emerging pest threats before they reach the U.S. and to respond in an appropriate and timely manner. EPICA achieves a wide, systematic, and efficient coverage of open-source plant health information, which it then analyzes and communicates within a PPQ-relevant context.
