Basic Information
Overview | The AHVLA is now known as Animal & plant Health Agency. The agency works to identify and control endemic and exotic diseases and pests in animals, plants and bees. They are also tasked with surveillance of new and emerging pests and diseases. Work is carried out at VLA's 15 Regional Laboratories and two Surveillance Centers. The work is published in reports to government policymakers and other interested parties. |
