Flucaster is a web-enabled environment for disease surveillance, situation assessment and forecasting. It uses social media data, crowdsourcing data and combines this information with detailed models of disease transmission such as Indemics and Epifast to produce highly resolved estimates of the disease state as well as forecasts.
