This mathematical cholera model examines prevaccination and reactive vaccination strategies to assess their efficacy for controlling epidemic cholera. The overall effectiveness of a vaccination strategy was measured by the percentage of cases averted with respect of the baseline simulations when vaccine were not deployed.
