Notes

Goats are rarely affected by OPA. OPA is the most common pulmonary tumour of sheep and occurs in many countries around the world. It is absent from Australia and New Zealand and has been eradicated from Iceland.
During end-stage disease, animals exude a foamy white fluid from the nose which is thought to be the mode of transmission between animals.
